This book will give the reader the history and the development of Joint Tenancy in great detail. This book will give the reader sufficient appreciation of Joint Tenancy within THE SHARI'AH. With this, the reader can make an independent and well informed judgement of the fatwas and the research done by the author.

The reader will also realize that the responsibility to protect THE SHARI'AH lies not on the Muslim body alone. Each Muslim is responsible to protect THE SHARI'AH. This book will provide the reader with the confidence, courage and justification to accept or reject the fatwas issued by MUIS on this subject. There is no impartiality on this issue. 

The author's attempt to present the history and development of Joint Tenancy within THE SHARI'AH is an intellectual process. It also shows the determination of the author to help Muslims to have an open mind in analyzing a new fatwas issued by an authority pertaining to civil law.
